The wind vent has upgraded stitching yo prevent tearing. The finial is made of TPU plastic and won't become brittle and break. Superior quality 1/2 inch Fiberglass ribs for maximum flexibility and wind resistance. The canopy has reinforced four-layer pockets to prevent fabric from tearing.  A stainless steel grommet at the top of the notch to keep the fabric in place and prevent rust stains.
