Sunbrella Warranty:

Who this warranty protects: This warranty protects the original purchaser of Sunbrella fabric.
What this warranty protects against: This warranty protects against Sunbrella fabric becoming unserviceable due to color or strength loss from normal usage and exposure conditions, including sunlight, mildew and atmospheric chemicals.
What this warranty covers: This warranty covers Sunbrella fabric only.
What this warranty does not cover: This warranty does not cover normal care and cleaning; damage from misuse or abuse; improper installation; or costs associated with replacement of the fabric, including labor and installation.

Limits to the warranty Glen Raven’s liability is expressly limited to this warranty. Glen Raven reserves the right to inspect the fabric submitted for claim.
What we will do Glen Raven will supply new equivalent fabric to replace the fabric that becomes unserviceable.

Who consumers should contact Sunbrella is normally a component of an end product such as an awning, umbrella or cushion.  Consumers and end-users should contact the fabricator, dealer or retailer from whom you purchased the end product.

Warranty Coverage Period Performance improvements introduced November 1, 2008 allowed Glen Raven to increase the warranty period for Sunbrella fabrics. See below for details.
Warranty Coverage Period:
Sunbrella Awning and Marine Canvas
For installations prior to November 1, 2008, the warranty coverage period is five years from the original purchase date.
For installations on or after November 1, 2008, the warranty coverage period is ten years from the original purchase date. Glen Raven will
provide replacement fabric at no cost during years one through eight; at the then-current selling price less a 30% discount during the ninth year; and
less a 15% discount during the tenth year.
SUNBRELLA FURNITURE FABRICS AND ALL OTHER SUNBRELLA FABRICS
This coverage applies to all Sunbrella furniture fabrics, window treatment fabrics, and specialty fabrics such as Sunbrella Plus, Sunbrella Supreme, and
Sunbrella View. The Sunbrella Graphics System is covered under a separate warranty.
For installations prior to November 1, 2008, the warranty coverage period is three years from the original purchase date.
For installations on or after November 1, 2008, the warranty coverage period is five years from the original purchase date.

Galtech International Limited Warranty Policy:

FRAMES AND STANDS

Market umbrellas and bases are warranted for a period of 1 year from the date of original consumer purchase.  Model number 722, 762, and 732 are warranted for a period of 2 years from the original date of purchase.  Purchase dates must be verified.

Galtect International warrants that these items will be free from manufacture defects from workmanship and materials under normal and reasonable use and proper assembly. 

What is Covered:

1.  Warping, rotting, and spliting of wood frame poles.

2.  Rusting, discoloring of metal parts.

3.  Broken tilt mechanisms, broken cords, and broken cranks.

What is not coverd:  DAMAGED CAUSED BY WIND CONDITIONS, FALLING/DROPPING, OR MISHANDLING IS NOT COVERED UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCES.  Damages indicative of wind, falling/dropping, and mishandling include broken or bent ribs and/or bent aluminum poles.  Replacement of warranty items will be determined at factory discretion.

COVERS

Covers are warranted against loss of color or strength under normal exposure conditions for the following durations:

Sunbrella - 3 years / Suncrylic - 1 year / Thatch - 1 year

 

California Umbrella Limited Warranty

Sureline Brand Products and California Umbrella Brand Frames

California Umbrella honors the following warranty to the original purchaser; 6 months on the Umbrella frames from Sureline Brand Products*; one (1) year limited warranty on California Umbrella Brand Frames*, that they will be free from defects in original material and workmanship, three (3) years on all California Umbrella Brand Fiberglass Ribs against breakage in suitable climate conditions*, five (5) years against  Fade only for Sunbrella brand fabrics (contact California Umbrella for specific warranty information).  California Umbrella will repair or replace your product without charge during the warranty period.  Please contact California Umbrella for warranty issues and they will issue a return authorization number (RA) to process a warranty.  This warranty does not provide coverage of reimbursement for Shipping costs.  California Umbrella does not offer delivery services or warranty for any shipping service; however, California Umbrella can arrange for shipping services to be rendered on behalf of a customer if it is requested.  It is the receiving party\'s responsibility to inspect the shipment for damaged or defective items.  California Umbrella will only assume the cost of shipping on any items that arrive damaged or defective in original material and workmanship in the initial shipment, and only up to 15 (fifteen) days after receipt of goods.  Items that arrive damaged by the freight provider are not covered under California Umbrella\'s warranty.  Any recovery for items damaged by a freight supplier must be addressed to the freight supplier.  After the inspection period of time has lapsed, this warranty does not provide for any shipping costs for defective items, inbound and outbound freight charges apply for anny warranty replacement that requires it.  No warranty or returns will be granted without approved return authorization number.  Specifically excluded from this warranty are all failures caused by neglect of necessary care; unreasonable use; unexpected acts of nature (hurricanes, tornadoes, tropical storms, and any damaged caused by wind or hail).  This warranty specifically excludes coverage for fade resistance on Fabric covers on all products in the Sureline Brand Product line.  Customers are responsible for safe storage of their umbrellas at all times, especially when the climate reaches unsafe conditions.  This warranty does not provide coverage of reimbursement for loss of use, time, inconvenience, or any other possible costs associated with the use of a defective item.

* California Umbrella will not warranty umbrellas used in commercial settings if they are a Sunline product umbrellas, crank lift umbrellas, tilting umbrella, or offset umbrella.  These umbrellas are suitable for residential use.

All Orders:

To ensure that your order, replacement, or warranty replacement is processed without delay we require:

1. A written purchase order from an authorized buyer including the purchase order number, if applicable.

2. Ship date and specific shipping instructions.

3. Out item style number, frame color (if applicable), fabric number, type and color.

4. Quantity of each style.

5. Customer\'s name.

6.  Billing and shipping address (if different)

Other Fees

Non-warranty repairs for fabric only are subject to a labor charge of $20.00 per hour plus applicable parts, inbound and outbound freight charges apply.  Replacement parts with discounted prices will be provided for non-warranty frames and parts plus inbound and outbound freight charges apply.  $10.00 drop ship fee will be added to each drop ship order. $45.00 service charge will be assessed on any returned check.

Limited Warranty Includes: Frame, ribs, finial, tilt, cord, crank handle, housing, canopy and rib pocket seams. If a defect in the original material or workmanship appears during the warranty period on any Treasure Garden product; Treasure Garden, at its option, will repair or replace the product without charge. LIMITED WARRANTY Fabric (Furniture Grade): The following fabric lines have a limited warranty against fading for: 5 years - Sunbrella® /Outdura® /Bella-Dura® /Docril® 4 years - O’bravia® The Limited Warranty only applies to TG product purchased directly from Treasure Garden, Inc. and its affiliates, or an authorized TG retail Dealer, as defined in our Terms and Conditions; the Limited Warranty is not transferable. Should the Purchaser or Owner sell the TG product to another party, the warranty will not transfer to the new owner. What Is NOT Covered: Failure caused by unreasonable or abusive use, or failure caused by neglect of reasonable and necessary care, and any modification to product are not covered by this warranty. Additionally, acts of nature (including but not limited to wind, hurricanes, tornadoes, and storms) are not covered by this warranty. This warranty covers return freight of any warranted product only for the first year. This warranty gives you specific legal rights and you may have other rights which vary from state to state. Closeout and promotional items sold by the dealer as is are not covered by this warranty. Wind Damage: Treasure Garden highly recommends that no umbrella, regardless of size or weight, ever be left unattended in the open position. In windy conditions, it is further recommended that umbrellas be closed, removed from their base, and stored, or laid horizontally. This will reduce the risk of damage to your umbrella, furniture, and other belongings or property. To ensure stability of your umbrella, please observe proper placement, and use sufficient weight (base). This catalog contains minimum recommendations for necessary weight; but this can vary, depending on the conditions in your particular area. WIND DAMAGE IS NOT COVERED UNDER OUR LIMITED WARRANTY. Irregularities in Production Process: The possibility of “Irregularities” in the product surface may occur during the production process. However, these irregularities do not reduce the quality of the product. Treasure Garden monitors every stage of production to ensure a clean and consistent appearance on every part. Rust: Rust is a natural part of the aging process of all Steel or Iron based materials and is therefore NOT considered a defect. Treasure Garden Cast Iron & Steel plate bases are designed to require minimum maintenance. Bases should be kept clean. Do not let dirt build up on the bases. Cleaning with mild soap and water, and seasonal touch-up of any scratches, chips or occasional rust seepage from crevices or hidden, un-finishable surfaces inherent in some designs is all that is required. Touch Up paint in matching frame colors are available through your retail dealer. Never leave bases standing in water. To keep your bases looking their best, you may wish to store them when not in use for an extended period of time. Seaside and Indoor Pool Usage: CAUTION: Seaside and inside pool use, salt & chlorides can accumulate on the powder coat finish, leading to finish failure. Failure or neglect to make needed cleanings may cause paint to blister, and such failure will void limited warranty. International Returns: If an item is found to be under warranty Treasure Garden shall only be responsible for ground shipping charges to the location of the product within the continental United States. Any duties, express, international or special shipping charges are at the expense of the retail dealer or consumer. IMPORTANT RESTRICTION FOR TG PRODUCTS WARRANTY SERVICE: Treasure Garden restricts warranty service for TG products to the country where Treasure Garden or its authorized TG retail Dealers originally sold the product. We pride ourselves as a totally vertical operation. This means that we manufacture and produce over 90% of the components used in our products from the raw state. We can monitor every stage of the manufacturing process and maintain a consistent level of quality.

Our only business and focus is shade and shade type products. Our goal is that each and every Shademaker style will exceed your expectations at a competitive price that will make you smile.

Our Limited Warranty is outlined below by individual styles. Please note, wind damage is not covered under any manufacturer’s warranty.

Our umbrellas are serviceable, meaning that parts can be ordered under warranty at no charge, if found that the damage is a manufacture defect and/or purchased out of warranty to make them whole again.

10 Year Limited Warranty includes the GALAXY, ORION, and ASTRAL styles. This includes the mast, boom, head fitting, elbow, center pole, top and bottom hub and stainless steel hardware only. If there is damage under the warranty, Shademaker will replace and/or repair any item listed in this category at its discretion.

5 Year Limited Warranty includes the SIRIUS, CORONA and NOVA styles. This includes the mast, arms, ribs, center pole, top and bottom hubs and stainless steel hardware only. 1 Year Limited Warranty covers the powder coat finish on our steel bases. If the powder coat finish flakes, bubbles, peels or loses color; Shademaker will re-finish or replace the defective bases at its discretion. Normal wear and tear is not covered under this limited warranty.

Exclusions: Wind damage, acts of nature (such as, but not limited to, freezing or any type of extreme weather.) Failures caused by abusive use and normal wear and tear are not covered under this warranty.

Those filing warranty claims will be responsible for all shipping, handling and freight charges on all claims to Shademaker in Baldwin Park, CA. All warranty claims must be submitted with the original proof of purchase, date of purchase, name of dealer and the description of the damage. An authorized Shademaker RA# must be listed on all products being returned. The Shademaker warranty is not transferable. Shademaker reserves the right to repair, replace and/or redesign any product that is returned under a warranty claim.

 

FIBERBUILT UMBRELLAS

UMBRELLA WARRANTY
FiberBuilt Umbrellas & Cushions warranties our two piece fiberglass ribbed Garden, Patio, Terrace, Market and Beach Umbrellas, and all wood umbrellas, as well as all bases, cabanas and upholstery work for a period of one year from the date of purchase, to the original purchaser, against defects in materials and workmanship. Additionally, fiberglass support ribs on our Market and Beach Umbrellas are warranted for five (5) years from the date of purchase. Prestige Collection Umbrellas (Augusta, Bambusa, Bridgewater, Contempo, Lucaya, Nitro, Palm and Riva) are warranted for a period of five (5) years from the date of purchase, to the original purchaser, against defects in materials and workmanship. Fiberglass support ribs on all Prestige Collection Umbrellas are also warranted for five (5) years. For the warranty to apply, all umbrellas must be secured in a properly weighted base. Though our umbrellas have successfully passed wind tests over 50 miles per hour, FiberBuilt Umbrellas & Cushions does not recommend allowing umbrellas to remain open during storms or strong winds. Customer is responsible fortaking the umbrella down when winds reach unsafe conditions. Normal care and maintenance of products is required to insure years of problem free use.

Damaged umbrellas should be immediately taken out of service. This warranty does not cover the umbrella pole, crank or tilt, glass tops, glides, normal fading of fabrics and finishes and chemical stains.

This warranty does not cover any damage due to acts of God, abuse, misuse or vandalism incurred to the umbrella after purchase, nor does it cover customer\'s own material. For warranty to apply products must be properly cared for and maintained. Modifications made to the product after production may void warranty. This warranty does not provide coverage or reimbursement for loss of use, time, inconvenience or other damages resulting from any defect in the product. FABRIC WARRANTY
Fabric options offered vary by product. Marine grade solution dyed acrylic fabrics are warranted against light fastness for a period of six (6) to ten (10) years depending on the fabric mill. Furniture grade solution dyed acrylic fabrics and acrylic blends are warranted for a period of three (3) to five (5) years depending on the manufacturer. The fabrics are covered under a limited prorated warranty provided directly from the fabric mill. This warranty covers the fabric becoming unserviceable because of loss of color or strength from normal exposure conditions including sunlight, mildew, rot and atmospheric chemicals. Warranty does not cover ripped, torn or frayed fabric. It does not cover labor and installation supplied by FiberBuilt Umbrellas & Cushions/Guy Harvey Outdoors or any other dealer. In the event that your fabric fails, please contact us to inspect fabric, submit a claim and secure replacement fabric. All fabric must be properly maintained and cleaned regularly for the warranty to be effective. Spun Acrylic, vinyl coated weaves and select marine grade fabrics do not carry an additional warranty.
